The No Surprises Act, which was signed into law on December 27, 2020, amends the Public Health Service (PHS) Act by establishing requirements for health care providers and facilities to protect patients from surprise medical bills and to provide good faith estimates (GFE) to potential patients/clients. It’s difficult to determine the true length of treatment, but our estimate will be based on the average length of treatment.
We’re required to notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by a non-participating provider and provide options to receive care from an in-network provider if one is available.
-
Initial Session - Up to 75 minutes
Each follow up session - 30-50 minutes
-
Since each appointment slot is reserved for you, we require a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will incur a late cancellation fee of $30.
Failure to contact your therapist and missing a scheduled appointment will result in a No-Show Fee of $50.
If you haven’t logged on 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, your session is considered No-Show and the No-Show fee will be charged. If an appointment isn’t scheduled or there is a No-show for three (3) sessions within a 12 month period, the professional relationship may be terminated.
-
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance at this time. We are also unable to provide a superbill for out of network services and are only accepting private pay.
-
If your therapist is an LPC-Associate, he/she is required to receive regular supervision. This is meant to better your therapist and the LPC-Associate’s supervisor must adhere to all confidentiality guidelines.
For Minors (Under 18 years of age!)
If you are making an appointment for your child (under 18 years old), please create the client profile with your minor’s name and information. Make sure you (parent/guardian) are written as the emergency contact and you sign the consent for parents/guardians at the bottom of the upcoming questionnaire.
Please note that counseling services are only available to those who reside in Texas due to licensure restrictions.
